Amorepacific (090430) reported on Monday that its sales during Amazon’s major discount event, the Big Spring Sale, more than tripled compared to the same period last year.

The company’s overall sales increased by 201% year-over-year during this event. Key brands ILLIYOON and mise-en-scène spearheaded this impressive performance with significant growth and top-tier category rankings.

ILLIYOON saw an impressive 384% increase compared to last year. Its flagship product, the Ceramide Ato Concentrated Cream, sold over 40,000 units and ranking third in Amazon’s facial moisturizer category. Meanwhile, mise-en-scène recorded a 237% increase, with its Perfect Serum taking the top spot in the hair styling oil segment.

Notably, brands that have yet to officially launch in North America also posted strong results. LABO-H recorded an astounding growth rate of 8,149%, while espoir grew by 191%, AYUNCHE by 208%, and LONGTAKE by 347%, all demonstrating robust and consistent growth. OSULLOC’s Samda Honey Pear Tea claimed the top spot in the fruit tea category.

Amorepacific attributed these successes to collaborations with dermatologists and influencers, coupled with targeted social media marketing strategies.

Building on this momentum, Amorepacific is poised to accelerate its strategy for the upcoming Amazon Prime Day in June.
