On the 18th, McDonald’s announced that it would unveil two commercials featuring actual McDonald’s store employees as the main characters.

The first video, which was pre-released on the 11th, features Bae Eun Bi, the manager of the Incheon Yeonhui DT branch, and crew members (store employees) working in the store with Manager Bae.

On the 22nd, the second video introducing various eco-friendly elements in the store by Kim Do Yeop, the manager of the Jeju Oedo DT branch, is scheduled to be released, and they plan to release one more video within the year.

The first video featuring Manager Bae is titled “We Must Stick Together,” capturing the diverse employees working in the store.

Manager Bae, who started as a part-timer at the age of 20 and became a store manager, is one of the figures representing McDonald’s equal employment opportunities through an open hiring. In the video, Manager Bae introduces various crew members such as a housewife, student, foreigner, and disabled person with nicknames like “smiling angel,” “super mom,” “global,” etc. These people are actual crew members working with Manager Bae at the Incheon Yeonhui DT branch.

The second video to be released, titled “Welcome to the Restaurant with a good view,” will focus on Manager Kim. The Jeju Oedo DT branch is characterized by a panoramic ocean view of the Jeju Sea seen from inside the store. Manager Kim, a native of Jeju who started his first job at McDonald’s, is currently working as the store manager.

A McDonald’s official said, “The main characters appearing in the video were selected through the ‘My McDonald’s Story’ contest for employees nationwide.”
