KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation) announced on the 16th that it achieved the highest grade, A, among the same evaluation groups (fund management quasi-government agencies) in the 2023 Public Agency Safety Activity Level Evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor has been announcing the safety activity level evaluation grades since 2019, conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the safety and health activity levels and efforts of about 130 public institutions.
KAMCO received high evaluations in areas such as CEO safety, health management leadership, on-site implementation, continuous expansion of dedicated safety organization and personnel, strengthening the operation of the safety and health management system, and minimizing safety blind spots to prevent accidents and deaths.
President of KAMCO Kwon Nam Ju said, “KAMCO’s meticulous efforts to prevent accidents have led to excellent safety results,” adding, “Based on the achievement of the first A-grade by a financial public institution, we will continue to make efforts to block potential disasters at their source, and fulfill our responsibility as a public institution to prioritize the lives and safety of the people.”
