Porsche Korea announced that it will conduct pre-orders for its first electric SUV, the Macan Electric, at all Porsche Centers and Porsche Studios in Korea starting today. Four models are available for pre-order: Macan, Macan 4, Macan 4S, and Macan Turbo.

Porsche has expanded its lineup by adding two new models, the rear-wheel drive Macan and the Macan 4S, following the release of the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo last month. With launch control activated, the Macan delivers a maximum output of 360 horsepower, while the Macan 4S ramps up to 516 horsepower. The Macan offers a maximum torque of 57.4 kg·m, and the Macan 4S increases to 83.6 kg·m. In terms of acceleration, the Macan reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 5.7 seconds, and the Macan 4S achieves this in just 4.1 seconds.

The Macan is 110 kg (242.5 pounds) lighter than the Macan 4 and has a range of 641 km (398 miles) on a single charge (based on WLTP), while the Macan 4S is 606 km (377 miles). Fast charging of up to 270 kW DC is possible, and when using a fast charger, it takes about 21 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80% capacity.

Porsche has made the new color Slate Gray Neo available to all Macan lineups and has added a new 20-inch Macan S wheel. The selling price starts from about 99.1 million won (approx. $72,000). More information can be found at the nearest Porsche center or studio in South Korea.
