Hyundai Motor Company unveiled its 2025 Porter II Electric specialty vehicle lineup on Thursday.

This new range, based on the 2025 Porter II Electric, launched in March, boasts enhanced electric vehicle (EV) capabilities. A notable addition is the electric wing body model, while the high-roof van’s exterior design has received a premium upgrade.

Hyundai has significantly improved the rapid charging speed of the 2025 Porter II Electric specialty vehicles. The time required to fast-charge the battery from 10% to 80% capacity has been reduced from 47 to 32 minutes, a 15-minute improvement.

To enhance nighttime charging visibility, LED lighting has been added above the charging port. The battery’s ground clearance has also been raised by 10mm to address concerns when driving on unpaved roads.

The newly introduced electric wing body model features a wireless remote-controlled wing body and recessed rear twin doors for improved loading convenience. The cargo bed length has been extended by 250mm compared to the manual wing body model, allowing for increased cargo capacity.

For the high-roof van model, Hyundai has incorporated design elements that reflect the brand’s identity, including a new air spoiler, top corner rail caps, door handles and hinges, and side decal lines.

Safety enhancements include larger rear auxiliary brake lights and an integrated rear bumper with a step. All high-roof van models now feature clear-coated locking rods to prevent discoloration.

The power gate model, which enables the electric operation of the rear cargo area gate, now features a gate stopper. This feature prevents cargo from slipping or falling during loading and unloading, improving safety and cargo protection.

Hyundai will extend its EV Biz Care customer program to Porter II Electric specialty vehicle buyers.

Through the EV Biz Care program, customers can choose between 500,000 credits in charging credits, a 7kW home charger, or 200,000 credits plus a charging cable.

Additional benefits include the Electric Vehicle Fire Assurance Program, offering up to 10 billion KRW (about 7.5 million USD) in fire damage coverage, the Blue Assurance Check providing annual safety inspections for 10 years, and the EV Charging Solution featuring a tailored charging subscription plan and mobile charging service for Porter II Electric specialty vehicles.
