Hyundai Motor Company has announced a collaboration with Pokémon Korea to launch new display themes: the ‘Pokémon Pikachu Thunderbolt Theme’ and the ‘Pokémon Meta Dream World Theme’ on Monday.
Customers can now personalize their driving experience with Pokémon-inspired designs on the connected car navigation cockpit (ccNC) infotainment cluster display. This includes customizable colors and graphics, navigation information, and unique animations when starting and stopping the vehicle, adding an emotional and storytelling element to their journeys.
These new Pokémon display themes can be purchased through the MyHyundai Apple plication after registering a primary vehicle in Hyundai’s BlueLink store.
Compatible vehicles include the all-new Palisade, IONIQ 9, all-new NEXO, the new IONIQ 6, 2026 Sonata The Edge, and the new Staria.
Hyundai plans to expand the range of compatible vehicles through over-the-air (OTA) software updates in the future.
A Hyundai spokesperson stated that this collaboration reflects its customers’ desire to customize and express their personal style through their vehicles. In line with the connected car era, it will continue to enhance the experiential value that customers can enjoy in their vehicles.
