BMW Korea announced the launch of the New iX2 eDrive20, the brand’s first all-electric Sports Activity Coupe (SAC). This vehicle combines a dynamic exterior with an eco-friendly all-electric powertrain.

The iX2 features a coupe-style SUV silhouette with a bold front end, highlighted by the sleek adaptive LED headlights, BMW’s signature kidney grille with a unique pattern, and a large lower air intake, creating a bold presence. The roofline flows elegantly to the rear, harmonizing with the rear spoiler to complete the graceful coupe-like silhouette characteristic of BMW SACs. The 19-inch double-spoke wheels and M-specific side skirts enhance its dynamic appeal.

The vehicle boasts a BMW Curved Display, integrating a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a 10.7-inch control display. The dashboard’s design elements, new two-tone Veganza sport seats, and M sport leather steering wheel emphasize a sporty driving experience. Standard amenities include a BMW head-up display, wireless charging tray, and Harman Kardon sound system.

BMW’s latest fifth-generation electric powertrain delivers both powerful performance and high efficiency. The front-mounted single electric motor produces 204 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque, propelling the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in 8.6 seconds.

With a 64.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, the iX2 offers a range of approximately 350 km on a single charge, with an efficiency of 4.8 km per kWh. It supports Level 2 charging at up to 11 kW, while DC fast charging at up to 130 kW can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in about 29 minutes.

The iX2 is equipped with advanced driver assistance features, including Driving Assistant Professional, Active Cruise Control with stop-and-go functionality, and Parking Assistant Plus, which enables the vehicle to identify parking spaces and park itself.

The vehicle runs on BMW OS 9, offering smart navigation that factors in battery charge levels to suggest optimal routes. It also provides access to in-car gaming and video streaming content through BMW Digital Premium.

The New iX2 eDrive20 will be offered in a single M Sport package trim, with pricing starting at KRW 64.7 million (approximately $44,643).
