MINI Korea announced on Wednesday that it has officially launched the New MINI Cooper C 5-Door in South Korea.
The new MINI Cooper 5-door has a 70 mm longer wheelbase than the 3-door model, offering a more spacious interior. MINI Korea will provide the 5-door version in Essential and Classic trims.
The Essential trim, the entry-level option, includes key standard features and equipment. Its exterior showcases a unified look with body-colored roof and side mirror caps, while a black-outlined radiator grille and 17-inch gray lightweight alloy wheels contribute to its sleek appearance. Inside, fabric sport seats and a 2-spoke steering wheel create a clean, minimalist ambiance.
The Classic trim highlights MINI’s signature character. The roof and side mirror caps are white to contrast with the body color, and 17-inch two-tone lightweight aluminum alloy wheels add a dynamic touch. The interior features a sporty vibe with a combination of synthetic leather and fabric sport seats and a three-spoke sport steering wheel with fabric straps.
The new MINI Cooper 5-Door has a 240 mm circular OLED display developed in collaboration with Samsung Display. It offers intuitive operation and excellent visibility, allowing users to control various vehicle functions easily. The vehicle also incorporates a Korean navigation system based on Tmap, running on MINI’s latest Operating System, 9.
Under the hood, the car pairs the MINI TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a 7-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission. It delivers a maximum output of 163 horsepower and a 25.5 kg·m peak torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds. The vehicle features a single-joint spring strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, offering MINI’s signature go-kart-like driving experience.
