On Tuesday, BYD Korea announced that starting April 3, it will exhibit eight of its flagship models equipped with advanced technologies at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, held over 11 days at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

Visitors will see the Atto 3, a compact electric SUV currently available for pre-order, the Seal, a mid-size electric sedan slated for release in 2025, and the Sea Lion 7, a mid-size electric SUV.

In addition, BYD will debut several vehicles in South Korea for the first time: the U8, a large electric SUV from its premium brand Yangwang; the U9, an electric sports car; the D9, a plug-in hybrid MPV from its luxury brand Denza; the Z9GT, an electric sports sedan; and the Bao 5, a plug-in hybrid SUV designed for off-road driving under the specialized brand FORMULA BAO.

BYD has organized its Seoul Mobility Show booth into zones for each brand. In the BYD Zone, visitors can directly experience voice control technology through the Atto 3’s infotainment and karaoke systems.

In the Denza Zone, the Z9GT and D9 glimpse the harmony between people and technology. The FORMULA BAO Zone features the Bao 5, displayed in a setting that recreates rugged mountainous terrain to highlight its off-road capabilities. In the Yangwang Zone, the U9 will showcase its unique autonomous motion system, enabling it to perform smooth, dance-like movements.

Furthermore, BYD will introduce its Blade Battery—named for its long, flat, blade-like cell design—and its dedicated EV platform, e-Platform 3.0, in the Technology Innovation Zone.

Liu Xueliang, BYD Asia-Pacific Automotive Sales Division General Manager, stated that BYD is committed to developing cutting-edge technologies encompassing passenger safety, driving performance, and environmental sustainability. He added that sharing their advanced technologies with everyone aims to create a safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable e-mobility lifestyle.
