Volvo Cars Korea announced on Tuesday that it will sell a limited edition of its fully electric compact SUV, the EX30 Moss Yellow Edition, exclusively through its official website starting April 17. Only 30 units will be available, sold on a first come, first served basis.
The Moss Yellow Edition adds limited-edition appeal to the EX30, which was officially launched in South Korea this February. It combines colors and materials inspired by Scandinavian nature, and its exterior features the Moss Yellow color, inspired by arctic moss growing on rocks in Swedish forests.
The Pine-themed interior, inspired by pine woodlands, incorporates sustainable materials such as flax-based synthetic fiber deco panels, a wool blend made from responsibly sourced wool and recycled polyester, and Nordico, an innovative bio-material derived from pine oil sourced in Sweden and Finland.
This limited edition is offered in a single configuration based on the EX30’s highest trim, Ultra. It has a fixed panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable front seats with memory function for the driver’s seat, Park Pilot Assist, a 360-degree camera system, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, and an advanced air purification system.
The sale price remains the same as the standard version, approximately $35,400 (post-eco tax benefits, excluding subsidies). Additionally, a special welcome package is included to enhance the appeal of this limited edition. Buyers will also receive a 5-year/100,000 km general parts warranty and consumable replacement service, an 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, 15 years of free over-the-air (OTA) software updates, and 5 years of free 5G digital service packages.
The Moss Yellow Edition will be showcased in person at the Volvo Ladies Salon event on April 15 at the cultural complex space FEZH in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The Volvo Ladies Salon, first launched last year, invites women who value lifestyle and well-being to explore better ways of living. This year’s program includes an art talk with artistic director Kim Joo Won and profile photo sessions in an analog photo booth..
