On June 20, the supercar brand Bugatti unveiled its hybrid model, the Bugatti Divo.
According to CNN, the Bugatti Divo unveiled by Bugatti Rimac has a 16-cylinder engine with three additional electric engines (two in the front, one in the back) capable of producing 1800 horsepower. A fully charged battery can travel approximately 37 miles in electric mode. The car can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2 seconds, reach 124 mph in 5 seconds, and reach 186 mph in 10 seconds at full throttle. Without the special speed key installed, it can reach its top speed of 248 mph within 25 seconds.
Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac described the new engine as “the most stimulating and emotional engine we have created,” referring to it as a “high-revving, naturally aspirated engine.”
The interior features a mechanical speedometer made by a Swiss watch manufacturer instead of the large display screens in today’s vehicles. Unlike previous Bugatti models, a display has also been installed in the center fascia, which the driver can hide if desired. Rimac’s CEO announced that the starting price for the Bugatti Divo will be around $4 million, with only 250 units planned for production. Vehicle delivery is expected to begin in 2026.
