Samsung Electronics has claimed the top spot in the Television (TV) and home appliance categories in the 2025 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) survey. The tech giant also secured the highest rating in the newly introduced vacuum cleaner category this year.

According to the ACSI results released on Wednesday, Samsung Electronics led the rankings in TVs, home appliances, and vacuum cleaners.

The ACSI, known for its comprehensive consumer satisfaction evaluations across various industries – including home appliances – bolsters the credibility of its findings by directly interviewing around 300,000 consumers.

In the TV category, Samsung maintained its dominance for the second consecutive year with an overall satisfaction score of 83. Chinese manufacturer TCL and LG Electronics shared second place, both scoring 81, while Sony followed closely with 80 points.

Samsung Electronics’ success extended to the overall home appliance category, where it tied for first with Whirlpool, both achieving a satisfaction score of 82. LG Electronics secured third with 81 points, followed by Bosch, Electrolux, and Haier, each scoring 80. Samsung Electronics has shown consistent improvement in this category, climbing from fourth place in 2023 to third in 2024, with a score of 81 in both years.

In the newly established vacuum cleaner category, Samsung Electronics outperformed its competitors with a score of 82. Shark came in second with 81 points, while Dyson and Bissell tied for third, each scoring 80.

The survey highlighted Samsung Electronics’ strengths in innovative features, product durability, striking design, and reliable customer support services, cementing its status as the brand most recommended by consumers.

This success follows Samsung’s strong performance in the ACSI smartphone and watch survey released in May. The company tied with Apple for first in the overall smartphone category and took the lead in both 5G smartphones and smartwatches.

Nick Webert, Executive Director of Customer Service at Samsung Electronics’ U.S. division, expressed pride in the customer recognition. Webert said that this achievement reflects its ongoing efforts to enhance the overall customer experience. Further noting that it recognizes that even the most durable products can require service, and customers need quick access to repairs. He highlighted that’s why they’re committed to investing in top-tier training and efficient parts supply systems.
