Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have experienced their largest capital inflow since October of last year.

According to data compiled by The Block on August 22, U.S. Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs saw a total net inflow of 2.6 billion USD last week. This marks the most substantial weekly net inflow since October.

Bitcoin spot ETFs attracted 1.9 billion USD, while Ethereum spot ETFs drew in 697.2 million USD.

The weekly trading volume for Bitcoin spot ETFs skyrocketed by over 219%, leaping from 6.9 billion USD in the previous week to 22.1 billion USD last week. When including Ethereum spot ETFs, the combined trading volume reached a staggering 29 billion USD, more than tripling the figures from the week before.

Alongside the surge in ETF inflows, Bitcoin and Ethereum prices have also seen significant gains.

As of 10:00 a.m. (Korean time) on Monday, CoinMarketCap data shows Bitcoin trading at 77,636 USD, up 23.49% from a week ago. Ethereum has surged 31.31% over the same period, now priced at 2,465 USD.
