K-pop sensation IVE has completed their first European tour since their debut.
According to Starship Entertainment on the 19th, IVE embarked on their inaugural world tour, IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR, SHOW WHAT I HAVE. The group graced audiences with concerts in five European cities, commencing with a captivating performance at the prestigious Accor Arena in Paris, France on the 4th. The tour included stops at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Uber Arena in Berlin, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, and concluded on the 16th at The O2 arena in London, marking the end of their European tour.
Through Starship Entertainment, leader An Yujin expressed, “It was touching and fulfilling throughout the performances because it was our first time visiting many countries since our debut. Many people welcomed us warmly, sang along with us, and enjoyed the show. I will work even harder to keep this happiness and become a singer that DIVE (official fandom name) can be proud of.” She added, “I sincerely thank everyone for creating these precious memories with us.”
Starting from this European tour, IVE has unveiled a fresh appeal with a new setlist featuring their recent album release, IVE SWITCH, and updated costumes, presenting stages that are distinctly different from their previous performances.
In particular, stages with the changed setlist, starting with “I AM” and “Blue Blood,” followed by “Blue Heart” and “Accendio,” captured the hearts and attention of European fans.
With a rich lineup of performances, including a newly introduced VCR that encapsulates IVE’s unique worldview, they solidified their title as a trusted group that delivers both visual and auditory pleasure.
IVE’s distinctive stage skills shone even brighter during this tour. IVE stirred up excitement with a harmonious blend of stable live performance and intense stage presence. They captivated global fans by moving around the venue and exuding explosive energy. Moreover, IVE’s concept stages were enough to fascinate the audience, completing legendary performances by interacting closely with the fans.
IVE has been on their world tour since October last year, starting in Seoul and spanning 27 cities in 19 countries in Asia, North America, Europe, and South America.
In August, they plan to add momentum to their global activities by participating in global music festivals such as Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2024 in Japan. The group will also be holding encore performances at KSPO DOME in South Korea and the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
They were the only K-pop artists to be named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, which was selected by the magazine, with Forbes recognizing IVE’s influence among the younger generation under 30 in Asia.
IVE plans to continue their first world tour in South America, starting with Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on the 23rd, Espaço Unimed in São Paulo on the 26th, and Movistar Arena in Santiago on the 30th.
