On the 26th, The Guardian reported that Taylor Swift, who has been performing on her Eras Tour in Europe recently, is continuing to donate to food banks in U.K. cities.

The Cardiff Food Bank did not disclose the exact amount of the donation but described it as the largest individual donation since its establishment. The food bank also explained that the donation could provide “enough food for three meals a day for three days for 1,200 people, totaling 18,000 meals.”

Before Cardiff, Taylor Swift also donated to the St. Andrew’s Community Network Food Bank in Liverpool. The charity expressed relief, stating that they had secured funds for food donations for the next 12 months.

This is not Taylor Swift’s first involvement in philanthropy. She previously donated to a charity in Ohio in 2020, and in March 2023, she made contributions to food banks in Arizona and Las Vegas.

After hearing the story of Ronan, a child who passed away from cancer, Taylor Swift donated all proceeds from her song “Ronan,” released in 2012, to a cancer charity. She also made donations to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has been on her Eras Tour since March 2023 and will conclude it in November this year. She recently completed her performance in the U.K. and is scheduled to continue her tour in Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, and other countries.
