Jimin from BTS has entered the U.K. Official Charts with a track from his second solo album.
According to the U.K. Official Charts announced on the 5th, Jimin’s pre-released track “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)” from his second solo album MUSE released on June 28, debuted impressively at number 46th on the Official Singles Chart. This achievement marks Jimin’s fifth entry onto the Official Singles Chart with a solo track.
Jimin made his debut on the Official Singles Chart with a series of solo tracks in 2023, collaborating with Taeyang on “VIBE (feat. Jimin of BTS)” (ranked 96th). Following this, his solo debut album, FACE, saw consecutive entries on the chart with the pre-release track “Set Me Free Pt.2” (ranked 30th) and the title track “Like Crazy” (ranked 8th). Jimin also charted with his vocal participation in the movie Fast & Furious: Ride and Die OST “Angel Pt. 1 (Feat. Jimin of BTS, JVKE & Muni Long)” (ranked 82nd).
“Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)” also topped both the Single Download and Single Sales charts.
This song is based on a marching band concept, featuring lively bounce and rhythm with a blend of the hip-hop genre into a large-scale orchestra sound. Jimin’s clear vocals complement Loco’s flexible rap, enhancing the song’s appeal even further.
BTS released the second concept photo for MUSE on its social media at midnight on the 6th. In the photo, Jimin stands dressed in a sharp black suit, positioned before a vintage-style platform with a guitar, capturing immediate attention.
