According to mid-year sales data, Tomorrow X Together’s (TXT) album has become the best-selling K-pop album in the United States for two consecutive years during the first half of each year.

According to Luminates’s first-half of 2024 report released on the 16th, TXT’s 6th mini-album minisode 3: TOMORROW sold 190,000 copies (based on physical CD sales alone), securing the second position on the U.S. Top CD Album Sales chart.

Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department topped the chart, with TXT achieving the highest position among K-pop artists. Previously, TXT claimed the top spot in this category with its 5th mini album, The Chaos Chapter: Temptation, in the 2023 mid-year report.

TXT’s minisode 3: TOMORROW ranked 6th on the Top Albums (U.S.)—Combined Sales chart, which combined physical and digital album sales. Considering Taylor Swift placed three albums in the Top 5, TXT now ranks fourth highest-ranking artist, following Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Beyoncé.

Luminate’s first-half 2024 report analyzed music-related metrics and trends in the United States, including physical album (CD, LP, etc.) sales, digital downloads, and audio streaming data, covering December 29, 2023, to June 27, 2024.
