Stray Kids continues gaining global popularity with its digital single “SLASH,” featured on the soundtracks for the movies Deadpool and Wolverine.
On the 19th, Stray Kids returned with a new mini-album titled ATE and the track “Chk Chk Boom.” They are scheduled to release “SLASH,” its new song featured in the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack, on various music streaming sites at 6 P.M. today.
“SLASH” was produced by the group’s in-house team, 3RACHA, which includes members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, alongside the renowned K-pop composer VERSACHOI. Drawing inspiration from the Deadpool franchise, the song has generated significant excitement among both movie enthusiasts and global music listeners following its release on the soundtrack.
Since 2021, Stray Kids has cultivated a unique bond with Deadpool. Following their performance on a Deadpool-inspired stage on Mnet’s Kingdom: Legendary War, Ryan Reynolds acknowledged Stray Kids on social media, generating excitement. This connection persisted, culminating in interviews commemorating the release of Deadpool and Wolverine, where Stray Kids, Reynolds, and Jackman showcased their camaraderie. Reynolds even appeared surprisedly in the music video for Stray Kids’ latest song, “Chk Chk Boom.”
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will headline Lollapalooza Chicago on August 2 and kick off its most extensive world tour, DOMINATE, in Seoul from August 24-25 and August 31 to September 1.
