Baekhyun, a popular K-pop boy band EXO member, has reached a new career milestone.
According to his agency, INB100, Baekhyun’s mini-album Hello, World, released last week, has achieved a remarkable total of 1,096,995 copies sold as of Thursday, according to Hanteo Chart. This sets a new personal best for first-week sales.
Baekhyun’s fourth mini-album recorded nearly 900,000 sales on its first day and quickly surpassed the first-week sales record of his previous release. It hits over 1 million copies sold within just five days.
Marking a fresh start with his newly established agency, INB100, Baekhyun is setting new records and reaching new heights in his career. He began the year with a nationwide fan meeting tour titled Snack Party and followed it with his debut solo Asia tour, which sold out all performances, including an encore.
Released after a 3-year and 6-month hiatus, Hello, World is Baekhyun’s third consecutive million-seller and has set a new personal best for first-week sales. This impressive achievement solidifies his status as a leading male solo artist this year.
After making a strong impression with the title track “Pineapple Slice” from his latest album on music shows, Baekhyun plans to continue connecting with fans through various channels and activities.
