The song “Apt.” by BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars took first place on the K-pop music show M Countdown, with Mars expressing his gratitude to his Korean fans.

On Friday, Mars shared Rosé’s Instagram story celebrating their No. 1 achievement on Mnet’s music ranking show, M Countdown, and expressed his reflections. This is the first time Mars, the world-renowned American singer, has topped a Korean music ranking program.

Mars expressed joy, saying, “Thank you so much to all the Korean fans!! I cried all morning after getting my first win on a music show.” He added, “A huge thanks to Rosé for helping me achieve first place, and thank you for all the love for ‘APT.’ Love, Bruno oppa,” sharing a lighthearted and heartfelt message.

During the Thursday broadcast of M Countdown, Rosé congratulated Mars, saying, “I’m so proud of you, Bruno Mars.” Mars’s joyful reflections on their win excited their fans.

Meanwhile, “APT.” was released as a pre-release single on October 18, ahead of Rosé’s official comeback scheduled for December 6. Inspired by Korea’s popular apartment game, the song stands out with its upbeat sound, with Mars’ participation adding to its quality. Since its release, the song has been sweeping global charts.
