TWICE’s new album “Strategy” has reached fourth place on the Billboard’s main albums chart in the U.S.
Billboard reported on Monday that TWICE’s latest mini-album, Strategy, released on December 6, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and earned 88,000 equivalent album units.
This marks TWICE’s sixth consecutive top 10 entry on the Billboard 200, following their mini-album “Taste of Love” (No. 6, June 2021), third full-length album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” (No. 3, November 2021), mini-album “BETWEEN 1&2” (No. 3, August 2022), mini-album “READY TO BE” (No. 2, March 2023), and mini-album “With YOU-th” (No. 1, February 2024). With this achievement, TWICE has set a new record for the most top 10 entries among K-pop girl groups.
The group has been captivating K-pop fans with its promotional activities for the new single “Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion),” which showcases its bold charm and various strategies for attracting loved ones.
On Tuesday, TWICE shared their thoughts through JYP Entertainment, “We put a lot of effort into this album to connect with more fans. We’re especially thrilled to return to music shows after about 10 months.” The group expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the global support and announced exciting plans for the future, saying, “Next year, we’re going to appear as a special guest at Coldplay’s concert in Korea. We’re also planning surprisingly cool performances and a completely new world tour. Stay tuned for TWICE’s continued achievements in 2025.”
Thanks to the enthusiastic support of its fans, TWICE continues to expand its global presence. On November 21, they became the first K-pop artist to perform on Amazon Music Live, setting a record with the highest number of viewers. The group will finish the year with their fifth appearance on Japan’s iconic NHK year-end special, the 75th Kōhaku Uta Gassen, on December 31.
