Virtual idol group PLAVE is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback with its third mini-album.

Its latest release, Caligo Pt.1, will be available on all major music streaming platforms on Monday.

This album marks an exciting new chapter for PLAVE, stepping beyond the ASTERUM Trilogy prologue to explore deeper emotional territory. Featuring five tracks that span rock, city pop, hip-hop, R&B, and ballads, Caligo Pt.1 showcases the group’s evolving sound. Staying true to its hands-on approach, all the members contributed to each track’s composition, lyrics, choreography, and production.

The title track, “Dash,” blends powerful rock elements with PLAVE’s signature intensity, signaling a bold step forward for the group. This isn’t just a high-energy concept track – it’s a refined culmination of the band’s musical and choreographic vision, delivering a sound that’s uniquely PLAVE.

The “Dash” music video takes things to the next level with cinematic visuals, a larger production team, and more time invested than previous projects. The result is a visually stunning, blockbuster-scale video that captures PLAVE’s dramatic evolution.

In contrast, the pre-released track “Island” features soft piano melodies and a soothing R&B vibe. Its heartfelt lyrics describe how you turned a once-ordinary world into something vibrant and full of light—a true serenade to fans.

The album also includes “12:32 (A to T),” a touching fan song featuring guitarist Jukjae; “Chroma Drift,” which channels a retro city pop vibe; and “RIZZ,” a catchy and laid-back hip-hop track. These five songs reflect the members’ passion and dedication to their craft.

Caligo Pt.1 arrives five months after PLAVE’s August digital single Pump Up The Volume! As the group’s narrative progresses from its origins on the mysterious planet ASTERUM, fans can expect a more mature sound and emotional depth as the story unfolds, capturing a journey of self-discovery amid chaos.
