BTS’ J-Hope announced on Tuesday that it has donated 200 million KRW (approximately $151,000) to Seoul Asan Medical Center. The contribution will help improve the hospital’s children’s ward.
This generous gesture coincided with J-Hope’s birthday, and the artist expressed his commitment to supporting the hospital. “I hope my contribution can make a difference in the lives of children battling illness,” J-Hope said. I sincerely wish that these young patients envision a future filled with health and hope.”
He also shared that giving back shows appreciation for BTS’s dedicated fanbase, ARMY. “Our fans constantly shower me with love and support. I’m truly grateful for them. Starting this annual tradition of donating on my birthday feels incredibly meaningful.”
This act of generosity follows J-Hope’s previous donation of 100 million KRW (about $75,500) to the same hospital in 2022.
Seoul Asan Medical Center has announced that J-Hope’s donation will enhance medical facilities and care environments for pediatric and adolescent patients. The funds will also support research into severe and rare childhood diseases.
