
JYP Entertainment’s rookie boy band KickFlip to make global festival debut at Lollapalooza.
According to an official announcement, KickFlip will perform at Lollapalooza Chicago, which will run from July 31 to August 3 at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois.
This marks KickFlip’s first major festival appearance just six months after their January debut. The rising boy group is set to showcase their energy as K-pop’s next-generation super rookies.
Lollapalooza originated in Chicago in 1991 and has grown into a globally renowned music festival. Editions are held in the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, and France. The festival features over 170 acts each year and attracts an average of 115,000 daily attendees.
Since their debut, KickFlip has captivated fans worldwide with their powerful performances and live vocals. Expectations are high for their Lollapalooza stage, a coveted platform that draws global attention.
The group debuted on January 20 with its first mini-album, Flip it, Kick it!, featuring the title track “Mama Said.” According to the Hanteo Chart, the release sold 276,881 copies in its first week. Just 33 days after debuting, the group won two music awards, proving its strong potential.
