According to Universal Pictures on the 3rd, the film received rave reviews from media outlets and audiences after its North American premiere It also won the praise of the world-renowned director, Steven Spielberg.

According to Gosling, Spielberg approached him at this year’s Golden Globe Awards and hugged him, saying, “I recently watched The Fall Guy and it was great.” In response, Gosling expressed his deep emotion, saying, “Nothing else is needed now that Spielberg liked The Fall Guy. That moment was the best moment for me.” He continued, “The Fall Guy is a very special movie, and I look forward to the audience seeing it,” revealing his love and confidence for the movie.
