Amid preparations for his solo comeback, attention is drawn to whether Zico will collaborate with Jennie.
An official from Zico’s agency, KOZ Entertainment, told News1 on the 4th, “Zico is preparing for a comeback at the end of April, and we ask for your understanding that it’s difficult to confirm any other matters at this time.”
Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that Jennie participated as a featured artist in Zico’s 10th anniversary commemorative song and appeared in the music video.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Zico’s solo debut. Having officially debuted as a member of Block B in 2011, he has been successful as a rapper, songwriter, and producer since releasing his first solo song, “Tough Cookie,” in 2014. Hence, there’s a lot of interest in his upcoming album.
Meanwhile, Zico will take over as the host of KBS 2TV’s late-night music show The Seasons from Lee Hyo Ri, starting on the 26th. He will also oversee the production of the group BOYNEXTDOOR’s second mini album, HOW?, which will be released on the 15th.
Jennie is planning to release a solo album in June. She is currently focusing on album production and is putting a lot of effort into designing her solo activities to accompany the release.
