Twenty For Seven With Us (TWS), remakes the classic hit “Uptown Girl” by the legendary pop icon Billy Joel, adding a touch of their style.
According to Pledis Entertainment on the 28th, the track “Uptown Girl” covered by TWS will be released at 6 PM on the same day. Following the song’s release, TWS is scheduled to perform on stage at 10 PM on KBS 2TV’s The Seasons – Zico’s Artist.
“Uptown Girl,” reimagined with TWS’s distinctive touch, is based on an 8-bit band sound. The song features an ambient guitar sound and retro synthesizer tones, complemented by innovative arrangements and dynamic modulations throughout the song. The lively voices and vibrant chorus overlays by TWS members enhance the song’s vitality, offering a delightful listening experience.
NieN, who wrote the lyrics, composed, and arranged the Lovely Runner OST “Star,” recently participated in its arrangement, enriching it with a fuller band sound.
