Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the lead actors in Deadpool and Wolverine, made a surprise appearance at the Waterbomb festival.
According to Walt Disney Company Korea on the 6th, Reynolds and Jackman visited Korea from the 4th to the 5th and made a surprise appearance at Waterbomb Seoul 2024. The festival was held on the outdoor global stage at the KINTEX in Goyang on the 5th, creating special memories with Korean fans.
Before their surprise appearance, the dance crew HOOK delivered a powerful opening performance inspired by Deadpool and Wolverine, setting an electrifying tone. Renowned for their portrayals of Marvel icons Deadpool and Wolverine, Reynolds and Jackman then delighted as special guests and engaged the audience with water gun antics, receiving enthusiastic cheers.
The audience then split into Team Deadpool and Team Wolverine to participate in Waterbomb’s signature game, Waterfighting, using a decibel meter to showcase their enthusiasm and fan spirit. Reynolds and Jackman expressed heartfelt gratitude to the passionate fans and presented special gifts, further enhancing the warm atmosphere.
Finally, a group photo session followed to commemorate the vibrant energy of the event, with Reynolds shouting “Let’s Go!” in his character, creating unforgettable memories.
Deadpool and Wolverine is scheduled to be released on the 24th in South Korea.
