Yves is swiftly making her mark in the global music scene.

On July 8, Billboard unveiled its Best K-Pop Albums of the First Half of 2024 on its official website, featuring Yves’ debut solo EP Loop among the standout releases.

Billboard described Loop as an album that “starts a new story for Yves” and highlighted how listeners can “experience Yves’ diverse musical talents” through its four tracks. Particularly noteworthy was the harmonious blend of Yves’ sweet vocals and Lil Cherry’s rap in the title track “Loop.”

Yves’ solo debut garnered attention in an article titled “A Fresh Start for Yves” by NME. Her debut solo track “Loop” was selected by Rolling Stone as a “Song You Need to Hear This Week,” highlighting Yves’ influential presence in the global music market.

Meanwhile, Loop marks Yves’ debut solo EP, released approximately six years and six months after her initial debut. It symbolizes Yves breaking away from the predetermined cycle (Loop) she had adhered to, allowing her to explore and express herself through a variety of musical genres.
