EtcSEVENTEEN's World Tour Shake-Up: Jeonghan and Jun's Surprising Absence

SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Jun will not participate in the group’s upcoming world tour. SEVENTEEN’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced yesterday on the fan communication platform Weverse that they would not participate in the tour.

Pledis Entertainment explained, “Jeonghan is scheduled to fulfill his military duties in the latter half of the year. While he has completed most of the content that required advance preparation, he cannot join the activities for the upcoming mini-album, set for October, or the SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR.”

“However, Jeonghan will still attend previously scheduled fan signings and the Lollapalooza Berlin performance as planned to meet with fans. More details about Jeonghan’s military service will be announced separately,” they added.

Pledis announced that after extensive discussions with Jun and the other members of SEVENTEEN, it has been decided that Jun will focus on his activities in China, including acting, for the latter half of this year. They noted that, like Jeonghan, Jun has completed most of the pre-scheduled content filming. However, conflicts with his filming schedule will prevent him from participating in the Lollapalooza Berlin performance, the mini-album promotions, and the SEVENTEEN World Tour.

They also shared that Jun remains deeply committed to the group’s activities and, despite missing the world tour, he plans to attend as many events as possible to engage with fans.

Pledis concluded by asking fans to understand and support Jeonghan’s military service and Jun’s activities in China.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will kick off their world tour in the U.S. and Japan from October to December. Before that, they are set to headline the Lollapalooza Berlin festival at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on September 8th.
