The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has certified Stray Kids’ hit song “Thunderous” as Gold.

The RIAA announced on its website yesterday that “Thunderous,” the title track from Stray Kids’ second studio album, NOEASY, released on August 23, 2021, has achieved Gold certification.

The RIAA awards certifications based on sales in the U.S., with Gold (500,000 or more), Platinum (1 million or more), Multi-Platinum (2 million or more), and Diamond (10 million or more) designations.

With this certification, Stray Kids now holds a total of six RIAA Gold certifications: four for singles—”God’s Menu,” “MANIAC,” “Back Door,” and “Thunderous”—and two for albums—★★★★★ (5-STAR) and Rockstar.

“Thunderous” is known for its powerful sound and bold lyrics, making it a standout track for the group. The music video highlights the eight members’ dynamic performances and unique personalities and has received enthusiastic responses from fans worldwide.
