Recently, actress Jang Nara, known for her role in the popular SBS drama Good Partner, donated generously to support animals in shelters.

The animal organization Angels’ Nest (led by Song Jae Seop) announced on Monday via its official Instagram account that Jang Nara donated 20 million won (approximately $14,860). They expressed gratitude for her unwavering support during the shelter’s financially challenging times.

The post also included a video of Jang Nara volunteering at the shelter. In it, she is seen wearing protective gear and lovingly trimming a puppy’s nails.

Angels’ Nest reports that Jang Nara has fostered a long-standing relationship with the animals at the shelter.

Director Song Jae Seop stated, “In the past, using groundwater from rivers often caused the animals to get sick. However, the animals now have access to clean water thanks to actress Jang Nara and her father, who helped install plumbing about five years ago.”

He added, “Actress Jang Nara’s father, actor Joo Ho Sung, and her brother, actor Jang Sung Won, also regularly visit the shelter to volunteer, showcasing their deep love for animals.” He expressed gratitude, stating, “With the generous donations we’ve received, we will care for the animals in an even cleaner environment.”

Angels’ Nest is an animal shelter in Ilsan, Goyang City, South Korea. It provides care for approximately 260 dogs and cats rescued from abandonment or breeding facilities. Given the large number of animals, the shelter relies on ongoing support for veterinary care and food.
