The animated film Moana 2 (directed by Dave Derrick Jr.) has been confirmed for release in South Korea on November 27. Worldwide box office earnings are expected to surpass $1 billion.

Moana 2 is projected to exceed the success of its predecessor, drawing considerable attention. Reports from various outlets, including Screen Rant, note that the teaser trailer for Moana 2 achieved over 178 million views within just 24 hours of its release, setting a new record for Disney animation trailers. Industry experts are optimistic, predicting this film will gross over $1 billion globally.

Directed by Dave Derrick Jr., who previously contributed to Moana and Encanto, Moana 2 features a stellar musical lineup, including Grammy Award winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, along with three-time Grammy recipient Mark Mancina. In addition, Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson will reprise their roles as the voices of Moana and Maui, once again showcasing their exceptional voice acting.
