LG Electronics announced on Wednesday that it received the Super Very Important Person (VIP) Award for being the most awarded company at the 2025 TWICE VIP Awards, organized by the prominent American tech publication TWICE. The company clinched top honors in four categories with five products.

The TWICE VIP Awards, established in 2013, annually recognizes excellence in home appliance and Information Technology (IT) products. Its credibility stems from a panel of expert judges comprising buyers from major U.S. retailers who cast their votes directly.

This recognition underscores LG Electronics’ competitive edge across a diverse portfolio of audiovisual (AV) and IT products, ranging from its flagship organic light emitting diode (OLED) televisions (TVs) to Bluetooth speakers, projectors, laptops, and gaming monitors.

The award-winning products include: the LG OLED evo (model G5) in the Video & TV: OLED category; the LG xboom Bounce for Bluetooth Speakers Under 199 USD; the LG CineBeam S (model PU615U) in the Home Theater: Projector category; and in Computers & Gaming, both the LG gram laptop (model 16T90TP) and LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor (model 45GX950A).

LG OLED TVs have also recently topped performance evaluations by 14 leading consumer publications worldwide, including Consumer Reports in the U.S. The 2025 LG OLED TV lineup received Perfect Black and Perfect Color certifications from UL Solutions, a global certification body, for consistently accurate color representation. Furthermore, its OLED display earned certification as eye-friendly from Eyesafe, a U.S.-based organization specializing in display safety standards.

In another industry first, the TV achieved the highest Perfect grade in TÜV Rheinland’s Indoor Lighting Environment Picture Quality Certification.

Jeong Jae-cheol, head of the Media & Entertainment Solution (MS) Research Institute at LG’s MS Business Division, stated that it aims to strengthen our leadership in the global premium market, leveraging the advanced technology and superior user experience of its OLED TVs and AV/IT products, which have now been recognized by U.S. retail buyers.
