Global energy-based device (EBD) company ViOL Medical said June 5 that it has signed an additional supply agreement for its Sylfirm X device with Chinese partner Sihuan Pharmaceutical.

The two companies held a “Sylfirm X 2026 Strategic Partnership Ceremony” in Beijing on May 28. Executives from both sides attended the event, where they finalized the new supply agreement and discussed future areas of cooperation.

The companies also shared updates on business operations and key product portfolios while exploring ways to expand their partnership.

Sihuan Pharmaceutical, a Chinese drugmaker, has been responsible for distributing Sylfirm X in China since 2022. Building on their ongoing collaboration, the companies have steadily expanded the device’s presence in the Chinese market. Under the new agreement, they plan to deepen cooperation across marketing, medical education and other business initiatives.

Sylfirm X is ViOL Medical’s flagship microneedle radiofrequency (RF) device, used to address a range of skin concerns, including scars, enlarged pores, pigmentation and vascular lesions.

Supported by its precision energy-delivery technology, the device has attracted sustained interest from medical professionals both in South Korea and abroad. Demand has been particularly strong in China, where Sylfirm X revenue increased 139% year over year in 2025.

The company attributed the growth to rising local demand as well as aggressive marketing and academic outreach efforts.

“China remains one of the key growth markets in Asia’s medical aesthetics industry,” a ViOL Medical official said. “Through our partnership with Sihuan Pharmaceutical, we will strengthen physician-focused educational programs and marketing activities while expanding Sylfirm X supply across China to accelerate business growth.”

Meanwhile, ViOL Medical continues to expand its presence in the global medical aesthetics market through its energy-based device technologies. Its product portfolio includes the Sylfirm X microneedle RF platform, the Doublo Tight high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) system and the Cellinew monopolar RF device.

The company said it remains committed to providing trusted aesthetic solutions for physicians and patients under its brand philosophy of promoting natural and healthy beauty.
