Wake One

K-pop artist group ZEROBASEONE transforms into cowboys for their new single.

On May 9th, ZEROBASEONE posted a teaser of the music video for the title track “Feel the POP” from their 3rd mini album You Had Me at HELLO on their official YouTube channel. In the teaser, the members are seen showing off their energy among the busy office workers. Even those negative moments of annoying typing transform into positivity with ZEROBASEONE.

The teaser then shows ZEROBASEONE riding horses on a road covered with desert sand. Wearing cowboy hats, they focus on moving forward without paying attention to the strange objects in front of them. The teaser also shows overwhelming cinematic visual quality. During the final scene, member Zhang Hao fires a shotgun, causing a giant balloon to pop.

A part of the new song “Feel the POP” was also released. “Feel the POP” is a pop genre mixed with various rhythms, signaling ZEROBASEONE’s genre challenge. Despite being short, it offers intense addictiveness, heightening expectations for Refreshing Base One, which will blow away this summer’s heat.

The title track “Feel the POP” reflects the determination to have the best time when youth’s hesitations, worries, and concerns can be forgotten and blown away. It promises to pop all negative emotions, giving listeners unforgettable moments. ZEROBASEONE announced their comeback after about six months and plans to conclude the fateful story continued from the two albums released last year with You Had Me at HELLO. Amidst the story of youth overwhelmed by the happiness of love, the new album will be released on various music sites on May 13th, 6 p.m. (KST).
