A program introducing high schools and universities in South Korea will be broadcast nationwide in Vietnam every Saturday on the Vietnamese national TV.

On May 21, Culture Creation Studio Pink Penguin CEO Kim Mi Young announced that it will produce K-Campus Dream, a program providing information about studying in Korea, in partnership with the Vietnamese national broadcaster, Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

K-Campus Dream is scheduled to be broadcast nationwide in Vietnam through VOV every Saturday evening at 8:15 (VST) for 10 minutes. The program will broadcast for one year, starting with Chonnam National University on June 1.

The program will provide field-based information by closely covering the lives of Vietnamese students studying at domestic universities, as well as introducing local governments, tourist spots, and industrial facilities around the schools.

VOV plans to introduce a total of 52 domestic high schools and universities until May 2025. They also intend to increase the number of broadcasts and running time depending on the viewer’s response. VOV‘s K-Campus Dream is designed to provide employment and lifestyle information related to studying abroad in Korea. This initiative comes in response to the growing interest in studying in Korea, driven by the popularity of K-culture and Vietnamese soccer coach Park Hang Seo.

Kim said, “We expect the production of the Korean study abroad program to contribute to attracting Vietnamese students to high schools and universities in South Korea that are experiencing difficulties.”

As of 2023, it is known that the largest group of foreign students in Korea consists of Vietnamese students, numbering over 70,000 out of the approximately 200,000 international students.

K-Campus Dream plans to introduce Chonnam National University, Chosun University, Jeju National University, and the 2024 Republic of Korea Glocal Future Education Expo every week for the first month of broadcasting in June.
