Sports trainer Hwang Chul Soon, known to the public for his appearance as Jingman on a past comedy program, has been revealed to be on trial for alleged assault of a female acquaintance.

According to the legal community, on May 23, Hwang is currently undergoing a trial for his assault, bodily harm, and property damage from February 2024. The trial is being reviewed by the Seoul Central District Court’s Criminal Division 2. Hwang is accused of arguing with the victim at an outdoor parking lot of a building in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province at around 3 AM on October 16 last year. In 2021, he was fined $4,200 in a summary order for allegedly taking to break mobile phones of two men in their 20s after a dispute.
