G-Dragon recently discussed Big Bang’s current trio lineup during a lighthearted appearance on the popular South Korean variety show Good Day, which aired on Sunday.

The episode featured G-Dragon bonding with fellow 1988-born stars Im Si Wan, Kwang Hee, and Kim Soo Hyun, highlighting their strong friendship and shared experiences.

At one point in the conversation, G-Dragon brought up ZE:A, the boy band Kwang Hee and Im Si Wan were once part of. Curious, he asked, “How many members were in ZE:A?” Kwang Hee responded, “There were 9 of us,” before adding with a laugh, “If I could be reborn, I’d practice singing harder and want to be in a trio.”

This comment seemed to subtly reference Big Bang’s current trio, which now consists of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, after T.O.P and Seungri’s departures. G-Dragon responded with a chuckle, saying, “We didn’t choose to be a trio,” drawing laughs from the group.

Im Si Wan playfully jumped in to keep the mood light, teasing Kwang Hee, “What if you came to help us out?” This remark had everyone in the room laughing even more.
