Apple is set to unveil a range of groundbreaking products around 2027. According to 9to5Mac, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman described the new product roadmap as a Product Renaissance.
The cornerstone of Apple’s product renaissance will be its first foldable iPhone. Slated for release alongside the iPhone 18 series in late 2026, this device is expected to boast features that set it apart from existing foldable smartphones.
Apple aims to elevate the foldable iPhone’s design with a crease-free display and a premium titanium frame. The company also plans to commemorate the iPhone’s 20th anniversary with a special model featuring an all-glass curved design and a notchless display.
Apple is also making significant strides in AI-powered products. Apple is developing a new hardware category that leverages some of its proprietary AI technology. By 2027, the company plans to launch smart glasses to rival Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses. These glasses are expected to include cameras, speakers, and microphones for environmental awareness, potentially incorporating visual intelligence similar to that found in iPhones.
Apple’s AI push extends to other product lines as well. The company is working on new AirPods with built-in cameras and an updated Apple Watch model, aiming to integrate visual intelligence technology across a wider range of devices.

Gurman also reports that Apple’s voice assistant, Siri, is set for a major overhaul by 2027. A new version of Siri, powered by advanced AI server chips, is expected to debut alongside iOS 20 that year.
In a surprising move, Apple plans to enter the robotics market in 2027 with a product based on its smart home hub. Gurman describes this as a desktop machine with a robotic arm, featuring an AI assistant with its own distinct personality.
Looking beyond 2027, Apple is exploring a new product category that merges a foldable iPad with a touchscreen Mac. However, Gurman suggests this innovative hybrid device may not materialize until 2028 at the earliest.
While these plans paint an exciting future for Apple, it’s worth noting that the company’s product roadmap is subject to change as development progresses.
