Samsung Electronics is introducing a brand-exclusive credit card to the U.S. market.

Samsung Electronics’ U.S. subsidiary announced on Tuesday through its global newsroom that it will launch the Samsung Galaxy Card in partnership with Barclays Bank and Visa.

Starting from Wednesday, customers can apply for the card at Samsung retail stores and online in the U.S. Cardholders who spend over 2,000 USD within the first 90 days of issuance will receive a 200 USD bonus reward.

The Samsung Galaxy Card offers tiered rewards based on where purchases are made. Customers will earn 5% cashback on eligible items bought from Samsung.com and direct stores, while payments through Samsung Wallet will garner a 3% reward. Popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify will earn 2%, and all other purchases will receive a 1% cash reward.

The card also comes with a 20% discount on Samsung Very Important Person (VIP) Advantage membership and an additional 5% reward for sign-up and renewal payments.

The Samsung Galaxy Card is deeply integrated with Samsung Wallet. Users can manage their credit cards, supported IDs, passes, and digital keys within the wallet app. The card also incorporates Samsung’s on-device mobile security platform, Knox, for enhanced protection.

Cha Won-cheol, Vice President and Head of the Digital Wallet Team at Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Experience (MX) Business Division, stated that the Samsung Galaxy Card offers users a new option to earn substantial benefits with every purchase. It’s designed to simplify life for the busy customers while delivering clear value.
