Samsung C&T Corporation announced on Thursday that its Raemian landscaping division has won two main awards in the environmental category at the IDEA 2026, one of the world’s top three design competitions, marking its third consecutive year of recognition.

The award-winning projects are the Wind Library Garden at Raemian One Pearl in Seocho District, Seoul, and the Blue Forest Garden at Jamsil Raemian I-Park in Songpa District, Seoul.

The IDEA Design Awards annually evaluate designs based on innovation, user benefits, social responsibility, and aesthetics to select the best in various categories.

The Wind Library Garden is an outdoor book café connected to a small library, utilizing the traditional Korean landscaping concept of borrowing scenery. This technique involves incorporating external views into the building’s design.

The Blue Forest Garden features a curved tea house and viewing deck, offering panoramic vistas from four distinct locations. It’s designed to let residents experience changing landscapes as they move through the space.

Samsung C&T plans to leverage Raemian’s internationally recognized landscaping expertise in new project proposals and marketing strategies.

Jang Byeong-yun, Vice President and Head of Housing Construction at Samsung C&T, stated that it will continue to create innovative landscaping designs that not only enhance the value of the residential complexes but also provide a unique living experience exclusive to Raemian residents.
