Daewoong Pharmaceutical successfully concluded its Digital Health Week 2026, a focused seminar series dedicated exclusively to digital healthcare products, the company announced on Friday.

The event was held online from March 3 to 6 through Dr.Ville, a platform exclusively for medical professionals, featuring live seminars. Daewoong Pharmaceutical stated that it used this opportunity to showcase its comprehensive digital healthcare strategy to the medical community.

The event attracted significant interest from the healthcare sector, with 44,315 medical professionals pre-registering and 39,753 actually attending over the four-day period.

This week-long program was designed to spotlight eight of Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s digital healthcare products. Rather than simply listing product features, the seminar focused on real-world clinical applications, exploring how these technologies are reshaping patient care and improving healthcare facility operations.

The event featured eight daily sessions, two each at lunchtime and in the evening. Each session was led by practicing healthcare professionals who shared firsthand experiences with the products.

The seminar kicked off on March 3 with a presentation on the CART BP pro, a ring-type cuffless blood pressure monitor, highlighting its role in activity-based blood pressure measurement and medical process innovation. The evening session showcased OPTiNA & WISKY, an artificial intelligence (AI) powered fundus examination solution, demonstrating how primary care facilities can now perform ophthalmologist-level screenings.

On March 4, sessions focused on Welda, a digital management paradigm for extending healthy lifespans, and Wellcheck, a tool for enhancing chronic disease management. These presentations explored strategies to boost patient satisfaction while reducing operational burdens on healthcare facilities.

The March 5 agenda featured CGM LiVE, a real-time monitoring system based on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), which is redefining blood sugar management for both inpatient and outpatient care. Another session introduced The Spirokit, a lung function testing device, discussing strategies for early chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) detection and promoting regular pulmonary function assessments.

The final day, March 6, saw the integration of mobiCARE, a wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring device, with the AiTiA SERIES, an AI-driven ECG analysis program for heart failure diagnosis. This combination demonstrated the potential for early cardiovascular disease detection and heart failure risk prediction in clinical settings.

By leveraging Dr.Ville’s live streaming capabilities, the event transcended geographical limitations, allowing nationwide participation. Daewoong Pharmaceutical noted that Dr.Ville’s physician-verified platform, which offers not only academic content but also resources on hospital management, legal issues, and taxation, significantly enhanced the seminar’s professional value.

Each session concluded with a live Q&A, fostering dynamic discussions on the practical aspects of implementing these technologies and serving as a forum for two-way communication.

A Daewoong Pharmaceutical spokesperson stated that they’re committed to continuing the development of academic programs that provide healthcare professionals with actionable insights and operational strategies. Through these efforts, it aims to cement our position as a frontrunner in the domestic digital healthcare market.
