GC announced on March 31 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Association in Hanoi and Fenica University Hospital to establish a 24-hour emergency hotline for the local Korean community.

This initiative aims to improve access to emergency medical services for Korean residents in Hanoi, building on private healthcare cooperation between South Korea and Vietnam. The hotline is set to launch on April 15.

The project is particularly significant as it leverages the GC Group’s global healthcare capabilities by connecting them with local medical institutions, centered around the GC & Phenikaa Healthcare Center that opened last year.

The hotline will operate through the GC & Phenikaa Healthcare Center’s KakaoTalk channel and a messenger-based consultation system, providing round-the-clock support for emergency patient reception and ambulance coordination.

When emergency patients are transported to Phenikaa University Hospital, Korean interpreters from the GC & Phenikaa Healthcare Center will be on-site to assist with the treatment process.

A GC spokesperson stated that this hotline is designed to ensure that local Korean residents can access emergency medical services quickly and without language barriers. As a global healthcare company, it will continue to enhance our competitiveness in medical services at the international locations.
