DongKoo Bio & Pharma announced on Tuesday that it will launch its fifth-generation probiotic product, TERABIOTICS PRO 1.06.
This product proved its market potential by achieving 1,315% of its funding goal on the crowdfunding platform Wadiz prior to its official release. DongKoo Bio & Pharma plans to significantly expand its health supplement and medical food business.
Terabiotics Pro 1.06 is a fifth-generation probiotic that combines probiotics from the first generation to postbiotics from the fourth generation into a single product. Each sachet contains 1 trillion cells of heat-treated probiotics and 61 billion live probiotics, along with three types of prebiotics: galacto-, xylo-, and fructo-oligosaccharides, creating a comprehensive formula that includes probiotics, prebiotics, and paraprobiotics (heat-treated probiotics) all in one.
The heat-treated probiotic ingredient comes from Verum, a specialized company with about 30 years of research in heat-treated probiotics, using their high-concentration inactivated bacteria EF-2001 (backed by 8 patents and over 20 SCI-level papers). The bacterial structure is preserved through their proprietary heat treatment technology, the KeepCell Method.
With the launch of Terabiotics Pro 1.06, DongKoo Bio & Pharma is poised to actively expand its healthcare business, focusing on health supplements and medical foods.
Specifically, they plan to diversify their distribution channels, starting with home shopping networks and expanding to various online and offline platforms, while continuously strengthening their probiotic-based product lineup.
