DaNaA Data, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven healthcare big data company under the Daewoong Group, has unveiled a groundbreaking AI health management service. This innovative platform comprehensively analyzes biological age, disease risk factors, and actual health screening results. The service aims to go beyond merely interpreting health check-up data, offering personalized health management strategies for each user.

On Thursday, DaNaA Data announced the launch of its Integrated AI Health Management Service. This cutting-edge platform combines their biological age analysis tool, BIOAGE, with a specialized AI consultation service called My Health AI Coach.

The new service prioritizes individual health management needs by integrating BIOAGE’s biological age and disease risk assessments with health screening metrics, abnormal findings, and overall health evaluations. Users can now access a comprehensive overview of their current health status and potential disease risks, while receiving tailored management guidance through AI-powered consultations.

For example, if a user is identified as having a high risk of developing diabetes, they can review their blood sugar levels alongside their overall disease risk profile. The AI coach can then provide personalized advice on diet and exercise regimens. This approach ensures that users receive health information and management recommendations specifically tailored to their individual health check-up results.

BIOAGE is a sophisticated tool that calculates a user’s biological age – distinct from their chronological age – by analyzing various health screening indicators. It provides insights not only into overall biological age but also breaks down age-related metrics for seven key bodily functions: kidney, immune system, cardiopulmonary, physical, vascular, joint, and metabolic health. The service also assesses the risk of major diseases such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and cerebrovascular disorders. This advanced analytical technology is built on a robust foundation of approximately 400,000 health check-up records.

The My Health AI Coach feature translates complex analysis results and abnormal findings into easily understandable language, while offering personalized health management strategies. It leverages medically-vetted health information and content from the reputable health information platform, HiDoc. It’s important to note that this service is not intended to replace professional medical diagnoses or treatments. Instead, it serves as a supportive tool to help users better understand their check-up results and manage their day-to-day health more effectively.

The service is accessible through health screening centers and Biz 36.5, an integrated health management platform for corporate health check-ups. Users at participating health centers and employees of companies using Biz 36.5 can conveniently access their biological age, disease risk factors, and health screening results via mobile devices, as well as utilize the AI consultation feature.

Looking ahead, DaNaA Data plans to expand its service offerings to include post-check-up lifestyle management. By early 2027, the company aims to roll out a Personalized Lifestyle Management Program. This program will provide tailored health information content and practical guidance on diet and exercise, based on individual health status and management priorities. The goal is to support users in maintaining healthy behaviors in their daily lives, extending the service’s impact beyond mere analysis and consultation to ongoing health maintenance.

Lee Chang-jae, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DaNaA Data, emphasized the significance of this integrated service: The platform goes beyond simply presenting health check-up results. It bridges the gap between data and action by providing personalized health management strategies. It’s committed to expanding the services to include practical lifestyle programs, supporting continuous health management from one check-up to the next.

In related news, Daewoong Pharmaceutical is advancing its smart hospital ward initiative. The company is expanding the deployment of ThynC, an AI-powered bed monitoring system developed by SEERS, with a focus on tertiary and regional hospitals. This system enables continuous monitoring of critically ill patients and those in pre- and post-operative care, significantly enhancing patient safety management across general hospital wards.
