BMW Korea announced on the 2nd that they will begin receiving pre-orders for their premium compact all-electric SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) model, the New iX2 eDrive20, through the BMW online shop starting from 3 p.m. on the 9th. The vehicle is set to be officially released in South Korea in the second half of the year.

As BMW’s first all-electric SAC, it is equipped with an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 204 horsepower and a peak torque of 188 lb·ft, along with a 64.7kWh (Net) capacity lithium-ion battery. It takes 29 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80% with a maximum output of 130kW, and the possible range per charge is 285 miles based on the WLTP standard.

The vehicle comes standard with a Korean version of the BMW navigation system based on a T-map. This system provides drivers with the optimal driving route, considering factors such as the vehicle’s charge status.

The bold design of the adaptive LED headlights and the hexagonal BMW kidney grille harmonize well, and the roofline that smoothly extends to the rear end completes the unique coupe silhouette of the BMW SAC.
