Management Goo, a talent agency, announced on Tuesday that they have signed an exclusive contract with Kim Ga Ram. The company stated that they’ve been closely following Kim Ga Ram’s YouTube activities and were deeply impressed by her potential for growth as an actress and her diligent attitude. Her daily efforts and progress towards achieving her dreams were crucial factors in the decision to sign her.
The agency further noted that Kim Ga Ram has been consistently training and studying to improve her acting skills, showing remarkable growth in a short period. Beyond acting, she’s also dedicating time to learning English and Japanese, and even teaching herself guitar, demonstrating her commitment to challenging herself and expanding her skillset.
They added that she invests most of her time in preparing for her acting career and personal development. It highly values her relentless efforts to improve herself. After thorough internal discussions, they’ve concluded that her potential for future growth is substantial, which led to the decision to sign her. Kim Ga Ram’s journey in the entertainment industry has been tumultuous. In 2022, just before her debut with LE SSERAFIM, she faced allegations of school bullying. At the time, her former agency, Source Music, vehemently denied the accusations, threatening legal action against those spreading what they claimed was misinformation. Despite the controversy, Kim Ga Ram made her official debut with LE SSERAFIM in May 2022. However, as the bullying allegations persisted, she suspended her activities. In July of the same year, Source Music announced the termination of her contract. After a period of hiatus, Kim Ga Ram launched a YouTube channel in March to reconnect with her fans, marking the beginning of her comeback to the public eye.
