Tzuyu (27), a member of the K-pop sensation TWICE, is parting ways with JYP Entertainment after an 11-year partnership.
Industry insiders revealed on Tuesday that Tzuyu has decided not to renew her contract with the agency. However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as she will continue to participate in TWICE’s group activities.
Tzuyu burst onto the scene in 2015 as part of TWICE. The group quickly rose to prominence, earning the title of nation’s girl group with chart-toppers like “Cheer Up,” “TT,” and “Fancy.” Tzuyu, in particular, captured hearts as the group’s lead dancer and visual standout.
Expanding her artistic horizons, Tzuyu made her solo debut in 2024 with the mini-album abouTZU. She has also demonstrated her musical prowess by contributing lyrics to both TWICE tracks and her solo material.
