On July 19, the K-pop sensation joined forces with Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber as co-headliners for the halftime spectacle at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey during the 2026 International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) North and Central America World Cup final.
The show kicked off with Madonna’s grand entrance, gliding in among roller-skating dancers to belt out her classic hit “Music.” At 67, the pop icon proved she’s still got it, dazzling the crowd with her timeless style and age-defying presence.
BTS took the baton from Madonna, launching into their smash hit “Dynamite.” The moment Jungkook’s vocals hit the air, the stadium erupted in a frenzy of cheers.
The septet commanded center field, with each member making a dramatic entrance. Suga’s uniform, complete with a Red Devils patch, struck an emotional chord with fans. Meanwhile, Jimin and Suga’s outfits featuring the number 7 caught everyone’s eye, adding symbolic flair to their performance.
Justin Bieber followed, striding onto the stage with his guitar for a soulful rendition of “Everything Hallelujah.” Shakira then ramped up the energy, getting the crowd moving with her infectious “Dai Dai.”
